Novice Track Evening at Brands Hatch - Monday 13th August
Discussion
Hi all,
I'm considering booking myself in on this Novice Only track evening.
http://www.motorsportvision.co.uk/trackdays/event-details.asp?ProductID=3539
Anyone else fancy having a go? I did one a year or so ago, and it wa sgreat fun, without teh pressure of having the real racers climbing all over you.
If we get some interest, we can combine it with a pint and a bite to eat afterwards?
I'll check back here before calling tomorrow, so let me know and i'll ask about availability.

Would be up for this but it's the day after Fighting Torque so doubt I will have a working car - also going back to Brands for the TVR track night there in early September so might be overkill, you not tempted to join in on that one David??

I admire your optimism Sinclair. Good luck with that Fighting Torque session, it looks like an interesting day. Where is it being held, i might pop along to have a look.http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
I did consider the September TVR track night, but was really concerned about getting in the way of the "grown up" track drivers. I'll give this one a go, and see how i feel about joining in with the "bigger boys".
Anyhoo, see you on the 28th i think
I've been bought this as a b'day present, can't wait. I've never driven Brands but been on other track days regularly for the past few years. I'll be driving the topless 350z.
I just hope this rain gives up before then. Paddock. First time. In the wet.
It's got fear written all over it...... ;-)

There may be a few of us driving over in convoy from the Crowthorne/Bracknell area, you are most welcome to join us. Keep an eye out on here nearer the time for details.
OK chaps, the time is almost upon us.
Can't think of where best to meet up for the convoy over there, so how about my place in Crowthorne. It's en route from Reading, and not far from Martin's Heron. I suggest we leave at 14:15, which should give us plenty of time to get there and top up our fuel by 15:30. Give me a shout and i'll let you have my address details, or please suggest an alternative meeting point.
Confirmed:

Any more takers?
Could also consider a pint and a curry afterwards?
Cheers, David

Convoy from your place sounds cool mate, e-mail me your address and I'll come over...
Refreshments afterwards would be a good a plan too, as I think we'll have worked up an appetite by then! I'll ask some relatives who live nearby for any recommendations unless you have any ideas of where to go?
