Evening All,

Now that I'm actually back working office hours in an office again and commuting by train, this raises the pleasing possibility of after-work beers.

Does anyone fancy joining me one evening after work next week? My choice would be the surprisingly well kept bitter in the now blessedly smoke-free Hole in the Wall right opposite the entrance to Waterloo. drinkbiggrin

I work right next to the station, so for me it's simple. I'm not thinking mass session here, just a couple of friendly pints before getting a train out around 7pm. smile

Dizeee, are you around Tuesday or Wednesday next week?

I was more thinking along the lines of getting there for 5:30ish, and then heading off around 7! I'd be 90 minutes into the Twickenham Special (a particularly fine pint) if I wait until 7 before starting! laugh

But what do I do from when I finish work at 5:30?

The answer, I suspect, would be to get bladdered whilst getting my name to the top of the leader board on all the skill games on the machine in there. Fun though this might be, it's not conducive to making it in the following day! laugh

I'm also a commuter through the big 'Loo! Normally there around 18:30, and would be quite happy to stop for a sharpener someday...

Anyone for a quick pint tonight? I'll be there in an hour or so, with Turbofun hopefully joining me once he makes it through the Friday night joy that is the Waterloo & City line.

Sorry, I'm working from home today (had to go to the dentist) and in/out from Woking tomorrow as I'm dropping off and collecting the car there.

More to the point though is that I've got to rush back to Woking as Peter the mechanic can't go home until I get there!

Anyone for this evening? I've also restarted a thread in P&P, as a lot of people seem to read one area or the other for some reason.

Stop preying on my beer-induced memory loss! grumpy

On another point, my arm is now more or less working again (stood up to 10 miles of road biking on Tuesday) so do you fancy mountain biking near Dorking in the near future? smile

With the takeover pending, it's a little strange at present. There's only so much we can do until we have more concrete information on that, so I'm alternating between very busy or "at a loose end" as I've not got any ongoing partner admin at the moment.

As for when cycling, how about one morning next weekend, subject to wifely approval?
