Strange.. According to DVLA, 11 SAS is not allocated to a vehicle, and L1 SAS is on a Golf GT TDi. Either he's being naughty and using the plate on the Merc before completing the transfer, the DVLA have screwed up, or there's another possible combination to make this plate that I can't think of!
