Sailing Club open day
Discussion
Ok. This is rather cheeky of me I know and if the mods don't think it's appropriate then please feel free to delete.
The sailing club of which I'm a member is going to be having an open day on the 13th of May. The start time is 10:30 and all through the day there will be sailing going on with the opportunity for visitors to have a look around to see what we get up to and what we sail. Weather permitting anyone who's interested will be able to go out in some of our boats as well. At the moment there will be several boats going out from differing classes including a Thames 'A' Rater (Pickie) which should be taking passengers out for a ride.
The saling club website can be found here and there is a short information flyer here. If anyone is interested or has any questions then please feel free to PM me.
Once again.. Sorry to the mods if this is inappropriate for PH. Please feel free to delete. Otherwise. Hope to see you there.

Have to say, this will be a bloody good day out i would think!! Would love to make it myself but for geography ...
If anyone can get a chance to have a spin in a Rater its one hell of an experiance ... no sailing dinghy should have a mast THAT high!!!!
(you never know, you may get to see Snoggledog's namesake too )
