can us locals still arrange a vw meet??
Discussion
hi mrs T, just fancied going back there, but maybe on a smaller scale, see who can bring the biggest flask and all that, what do you reckon??
was not too far for us, not sure how far the cafe meet is, not had chance to put it in the sat nav yet
but how the devil are you, seems like ages since we have seen any one and froze our ass off in a car park!!!

Was a very good meet, and yeah, it does seem like ages ago now.
I'll see you on 4th March, we'll see if we can find another naughty table to go and sit on

god i have been on this computer too long, sorry mrs T, i take it that after march its the 1st sunday of every month, want to start filling up the diary so we don't double book
Oh sorry!! I think I'm telling you lies.
I thought you was talking about the Northants Run, but you're talking about the pub meet at Sywell Aerodrome aren't you? that's the first Sunday of the month

Hi peeps, just a quickie!!!! - loved VW for the meet, can't we still have a date for us more local that enjoyed that location???
is it that much of an issue really???

Entirely up to you of course but we're trying to address the issue of VW becoming oversubscribed and the ensuing problems that occur. I'm slightly nervous of a 'low key' event turning into one of the normal monster meets.
We will be doing various meets around the country in the coming months so there will be plenty of chances to see old faces at new venues.
I'm going on the Northants run (Reading/Aylesbury/Toddington), and unfortunately will miss the first 'Sunday Service' due to hols.
Nigel - I like the idea of a SAS meet on a Sunday some time?
Though I do think that if we go to VW then there is a risk that it could turn into a 'monster' meet again...

Why not tie it in with one of the SAS meetings, we could always have one on a Sunday
Now theres a man with his thinking hat on.
On an unrelated topic, I'm off to New York with Cat and 3 other mates in April, I dont suppose you have anything big enough to carry 5 of us with luggage to the airport do you?
If not don't worry about it as I'm sure I can sort something else out.

7.5 tonner?
With the exchange rate, you'll certainly need one for the shopping coming back!

Believe it or not I am not a huge shopper although I have my suspicsions about the people I'm travelling with!
The main purpose is to go and visit friends but if the exchange rate holds up, I won't be able to resist buying hersheys by the bucket load. Then I REALLY will need the 7.5 tonner!
