4th March: NORTHANTS RUN XI & DUNSTABLE HOON??
Discussion
Anyone from Thames Valley area going up for this? Growing by the day with over 40 cars confirmed already and I reckon by 4th March it could be up near 80 cars!
I'll be going up from Reading with 'john_r junior' which is a good blat via Oxford and up past Silverstone to the services at M1 J15.

Whats the route? how long is it? (sorry I could'nt be bothered to make sense of that thread)

same here also do you have to have a certain type of car.
Shouldn't think any type of car is a problem - if you may struggle to keep up (*I'm referring to whatever car you have not you're driving!) on some of the routes, then might be easier just to head straight for the end point for the major gathering? Tempted to get there early myself with a camera to catch them all coming in!
*just in case the PH PC police are lurking...

Looks like a good crack. I'm in
John - have you got a decent route up to 15a planned then?

Yep, I know the route fairly well as regularly used to go up to MK from Basingstoke via Reading. Lots of back roads to avoid the traffic...
Really good news is; it'll be an early start on a Sunday so no traffic!
I'll put something together and email out nearer the time.
Put your name on the list for the main event...

Good man. I can't stand motorways. And an early start is always good for this sort of thing.
P.S. Is the 15a start not getting a bit over populated? Might we be better joining another?

We could always skip the 'pre-meet' and just hoon all the way up? Lets review nearer the time...?

Looks like it... I've only got 6/7 cars in my convoy... more controlable and a longer hoon to get there
Thats what I was thinking Oggs. I'd noticed yours was a longer route - extra hoonage
John - Quite happy to decide exact plans nearer the time. (I'll join Camp Oggs for the time being )

Been that way before, ace route indeed!

Yep, exactly that way indeed. With a few B roads to miss the villages...
It kinda makes sense to join at Toddington - we can cut through/around Leighton Buzzard and on to M1 J11 and North to Toddington... Hooning at 10mpg I'll need to refuel by then too!
