No I havent been on the baked beans...

Went home at lunchtime and had to wressle with multiple fence panels (5 in all). Watched one fly towards the car and just miss it. I am 16 1/2 Stone and I struggled to keep hold of them.

Anyway. I have about 10-15 panels down now, anyone know any decent fencing companies in the Reading area. Will need them to install.

Hoping the insurance pay out, do you think they will?

Just checked our insurance - nothing doing on fence panels!

Good luck, we have only lost one panel so far!!

You and about a bazillion other people, mate! We've lost about six panels so far - snapped off! I too had the lunchtime trip home...the missus is scared out of her wits, we've lost roof tiles and an end cap.

Most of our estate has suffered the same way.

As far as I know fence panels are NOT covered by house insurance. Luckily the fence that came down is jointly owned between me and my neighbour so we'll get half the bill each...

Still a few hours to go as well...

Good luck, everyone. Batten down the hatches...

Your roofer man is due at out house at 4:15 today. We are bloody lucky that we contacted them before the high winds.

Chez Don is going to have some serious work done on it...including, sadly, one brand new fence. All down one side of the garden...

Yep, all the roofers, fencers etc will be putting up their prices.

Still, at least it is only property damaged. Terrible news about the passenger who dies in Streetly.

My wife couldnt collect our son from pre school cos a tree had shut the road and path. She managed to go through people gardens with their persmission (I kid you not)
