First of all: apologies for the quality on some of these, the light was terrible and my hands were numb after 50 mins of no suspension or power steering!

If you're on a dial up connection, best you go and make a cup of tea!

And another fun day was had by all, thanks to Rob for organising it! Looking forward to the Ice Karting next, and that time I will have no excuses.....maybe I should have drunk the red beforehand to numb the pain Excellent afternoon chaps. Thanks. Nigel ( 17th )

Damn, I thought I'd escaped all the photos!

Excellent day, (well afternoon really). Thanks Rob for organising. I was really happy and slightly surprised to qualify 9th, I even managed to make an excellent start and made it up to about 4th or 5th only to throw it away on the first corner! I can see what drivers mean now about spinning in front of the field being scary! yikes I managed to make up for it a bit in race 2 by not spinning and getting up to 15th but I really need to stop overdrving the kart next time. I'm not sure doing most of the corners sideways with full opposite lock is the fastest way! I guess all the sideways practice I had may come in useful for Ice Karting though! scratchchin Apparently I also knocked someone into a puddle, (I'm useless at remembering names!) I'm really sorry I didn't see you alongside me. I managed to drive through it myself on one lap though and got a seat full of water!

I just hope I can make it along to the next event.

You certainly did! Quite a cheeky overtake I thought. Good racing with you for many laps and it just goes to show that you can have a lot of competitive fun without being at the front I'm still not sure how my best lap was 2 seconds off the fastest; I wasn't hanging around!

Top day out, thanks everyone and good work Rob (and Mr oversteer for the idea)

Nigel you are a total star and the wine will be on it's way, think it's a fair excuse for a visit to a pub at some point.

Nigel, Thankyou very much for lunch. There is a nice bottle of wine here with your name on it for when we next meet (hopefully before this time next year)

Great pictures John!

I had a fantastic day even though I raced a pretty average race, but the main thing is that I had the kart sideways on every corner! hehe

I'm glad you all enjoyed the day and if any of you need a hand to organise the next event then let me know, so long as everybody is just as keen then it won't be a problem at all.

As a side note though, who is going to own up to taking James out on the first corner in a mass pile up? I managed to make it around the corner just before the yellow flag and someone rear ended him just after the yellow was waved. I managed to get through only after Ben gave me a shunt through.

Also, as everyone who stayed to the end of the meal know, Nigel stuck everything on his card and refused money from everyone.

He knows he is getting alot of wine, but for those of you who may not see him for awhile, drop me an email and we'll see what we can sort out for the invalid!
