There is a used car dealer a mile or so away from the train station that is on the corner and stocks Lotus' adn BMW's and I can't remember what it's called.

Kinky, if you read this it's quite close to Del's place...

Yeah - Alexander David.

I got my last 2 Beemers from there.

And in fact - I'll be there on Saturday morning with Hag.

And I'm making a deliberate point of leaving my wallet at home - becuase I just know I'll come home with the XK8 or GTA (or knowing me - both)!

Mark - it's a fair hike from the station.

I'd actually guess that Sunningdale station is nearer than South Ascot.

And I'd also guesstimate it's about 2.5 miles.

But if you're the bike - you'll be fine. Except for that bugger of a hill up towards Lynwood (BENs home).

When I stumbled across the place I was on a bike, I was riding around killing time waiting for Del. I remembered that they had a nice old E36 M3 Evo in there and I was wondering if it was still up for sale...

As I say - i'll be there Saturday morning with Hag (subject to us actually getting up early enough).

Want me to ask anything, or give it a once over?

Cheers for the offer, but I've just checked the website and it looks like it's gone

But they do have a rather nice 52 plate M3 in black, I'm amazed at how 'cheap' they seem to be.

Now where did I put that spare £23k...

I'm not sure they are 'cheap' - they are book price - but I have to warn you - they are impossible to haggle with. I suppose they know that their cars will sell, so are happy to sit on the book price.

As I say - my latest acquisiton was from them - and I was reluctant to buy, as they were pretty new. i got chatting to a good friend of mine, who had bought a car from them - and he told me that his B-i-l works for them, and vouched for his car being 100% straight and honest - so that was some comfort.

Suffice to say I bought and have been very happy with it. Only given it 1 big run in anger and it performed faultlessly (down to Dorset). Next 'big' run will be the BT&P run this Saturday.

I wouldn't say that they are cheap, but I was suprised to find that you could pick up an M3 with only 19k on it for that much. But looking through there, my heart will always end up with the P1!! cloud9

What car did you get from there?

Got mine from them last month. Not cheap, but excellent condition. They are excellent- not pushy, very matter of fact, leave you to look over the car with no pressure but happy to answer whatever questions you put to them. Only take on cars they like the look of and are in good condition / reliable.

Hence NO TVR's
