I live 2 minutes from this roundabout and generally don't use this route on a day to day basis.I'm actually riding my bike to work now and so I can cut though town instead. I was fed up with the traffic that's all of a sudden doubled since the clocks went back, but that's another annoying topic.

But when I do use this R/A I cannot follow the suggested lanes no matter how hard I try. Just wondered what you think of the new layout and whether you see it as a hazard. Apparently, learner drivers are failing because testers are making them use this roundabout.

If you are in any doubt as to its whereabouts, it's between Datchet and Slough town centre, or at the end of Upton Court Road.

I guess the layout looked impressive as a CAD drawing but in practice it's very much flawed.

I'm with you - it's truly abysmal.

Shame that Google Earth isn't up-to-date, so we could share the horror...

Just had the pleasure of driving to Sluff so thought I'd take a look, I can't se it being long till its changed back. What is it these days that every roundabout is getting criss-crossed with lines?

I think it's actually possible to saty in lane and taking the correct exit whilst travelling at 5mph. Ideal in the rush hour but totally impossible at normal speeds...unless you're in a go cart hehe

Come to think of it i've only ever taken the 1st exit in my kit car. I will have to see if it's possible to stay in lane at 20mph+, trying every combination of entering/exiting the next time I drive it.
