SAS Christmas Dinner
Discussion
Folks,
Those of us in the SAS (Sunningdale And Surrounds) will know we had a rather successful inaugral meeting a few weeks ago .... (www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=314876&f=127&h=0)
The only downside being it lacked on the food front (poor Chas).
So, I know we had suggested and discussed that we next meet at the Tigers Pad in mid-december sometime ..... but I would like to propose an alternative venue.
Tonight I went to a chinese restaurant just outside Chobham (on the sunningdale side), called the Eastern & Oriental restaurant. So what? I hear you say. Well, for £15.99, you can eat as much as you like. And the food was pukker too and quick service.
So firstly, this means that Charlie will be in his element. Secondly, the rest of us can starve for 2 days in advance, to make the most of our money.
I have to confess - it will be darn sight cheaper than the Tigers Pad (beer excluded)
I am of course only too happy with the Tigers Pad if we decide to go with that (staggering distance for me) - but simply from a cost point of view and the fact that you eat as much as you like ...... sounds like a no-brainer to me!
Would anyone like to second the proposal? Nigel?

Wednesday is good for me, maybe we should try for either the 6th or 13th if all are in agreement?
