NHS Dentist in North Surrey, E Berks

Anyone care to recommend an affordable/NHS dentist in North Surrey or East Berks who might be able to help a dentophobe with a potentially serious problem.

No real details available, as I am trying to avoid thinking about this.

Please do not turn this into a How Much... etc.

I guess that answers that one. I have tried NHS direct, among other places, and have yet to locate one.

I have been to my NHS dentist nr Woking since I was a boy. I can't say whether it is good or bad compared to others as I have never been to another dentist!

Mrs martinD uses the Appledor clinic in binfield , private only. She is a dentophobe like you but finds them very understanding & would recommend them to anyone.
I have been told of a NHS dentist in Bracknell High st.(opp. the post office) that is very good . The dentists are South African , supposedly the SA dentists are the best in the world due to there training.

Fer, I know a superb one in Fleet (North Hampshire) who are superb with anyone nervous about dental work. IIRC they are also NHS. I've had a load of treatment there recently including some nasty stuff that I was scared stiff of. The owner of the practice is a proper dental surgeon (Doctor) and really took care of me. There is also one dentist who specialises in nervy patients

If this is the NHS dentist I'm thinking it might be (pub across the road?) you are more than likely to get good cheap service from them.

Myself and four others from my work use them.
