There is a classic car day this coming Saturday at The Bull, Stanford Dingley www.thebullatstanforddingley.co.uk

It's a lunchtime event, and hopefully the weather will still be good enough, there should be an interesting selection of vehicles from many different marques to catch the eye.

I think it is regular although not sure as I haven't been before. I just heard about it on Alfa forum. Will report back after the weekend

I think it's a regular one as I've seen it mentioned in C&SC magazine IIRC. Might try to pop along myself. Do you know what time it starts?

I don't believe I have missed it again.....I only live 3 miles away and always forget about it.

What a pity, did anyone else make it?

I made it there. Never been before and luckily found myself following a fantastic SWB Audi quattro en route, which made solo navigation through the lanes easier! Good turn out of cars, nice pint, nice weather, and nice chatting to various owners. Next one's in March. Recommended

I made it, very nice gathering indeed. Really nice mixture from 50's Americana to modern Italian Exotica. Good turn out of Alfa's too. Nice crowd of people. The drive there and back was great with lots of twisty country roads!

That was me in the audi - notice my deliberate mistake in going for the wrong pub initially? Was only able to stay a short while, but very impressed with the turnout, will try and remember in march!

I find that if i'm given several weeks' notice then it just gives me time to forget about it again! If I'm told about it the day before then I can either make it or I can't.

These monthly meetings start again tomorrow. Sorry to all those who wanted more notice, but I only just noticed it myself . So at one day's notice:

Location: The Bull at Stanford Dingley
Day: tomorrow
Time: noon.

I plan to be there in the 410, only been once before and it was a good and varied mix of cars.
