Late night blatting club?

Hi all,

I have just moved to Surrey from London, and currently living in accomodation near a fine road for a wee thrape. I have noticed, particularly in Summer that late in the evening (and even very very early in the morning) we get a fair number of very sonorous car and motorbike engines going past at a fair lick.

Also, the other weekend, I happened to be out and about late at night and noticed many a sports car out for a jape. Is this common practise? Is there a sort of 'midnight club' for car enthusiasts in the area, when traffic is quiet and the talivans are (hopefully) tucked up in plod's garage?

When my Caterham arrives, I shall have to explore the road network while others sleep methinks.

Locations? This is basically our playground and there's not much of it that isn't used.
