A cheeky request..........

Morning All,
The better half and I are moving into a small but lovely 1 bedroom house at the end of the month.
Now this will be our first place together so we're short on furniture. So does any one have in their garage or loft any items that might be suitable for us that you want to get rid of for a reasonable fee.
We really need a table that folds up out of the way (and folding chairs) and a few other bits and pieces such as a sofa.
So if any one has anything you think that might be suitable, could you let me know and if its suitable perhaps we can make you an offer?
We'd obviously collect it.
Many Thanks,
Phill

We have the base of a sofa bed in our garage - you're welcome to it for nothing...
Unfortunately we don't have the mattress part... It's a typical slatted bed in architecture, and is a standard double size. Nothing really wrong with it, just 10 years old and worn and missing the mattress!
Also you can have our Hoover 1500-A-wash washing machine in a short time for a nominal fee!
We're in Reading (north of the river!)

Don't need a freezer do you Phill? I might also have some other assorted bits of furniture but I'll have to work out what I need first!
Not sure yet Steve. The current tenants have a chest freezer in the garage which they have said we can buy off them if they decide not to take it with them.
PS. Plenty of room around the house for a PH meet! Beers and BBQ in the very small garden!
So far we have:
1 x double bed
1 x coffee table
1 x bookshelf
1 x Chest of drawers (going to go under the stairs so that we can buy matching ones for the bedroom
1 x Hanging Rail/Wardrobe thing
Possibly a washing machine (depends on somebody else moving house in the middle of sept)
1 x Lawnmower
1 x BBQ
Just brought a sofa today!
Walked into Homebase earlier, its an ex display model. It was marked down from £700 to £400 but we got it for £350 including delivery and with 6 months interest free credit.
Its a 6ft 2 seater in chocolate brown leather.
Quite happy with that!
Also spent a small fortune in Ikea on Saturday on a few little odds and sods! We need to go back to the house a measure up but we've found some bedroom furniture we both like.
Things are progressing along quite nicely! (Hope I get paid soon!)
