Hi Everyone
Just joined the forums. Been reading Piston Heads for ages, but didn't notice the forum! From the Wokingham area.
Car: 2002 (52) Fiat Punto MkII Sporting. In the process of being put on the market. Hopefully the replacement will be a Leon Cupra R. Should be making some regular posts :-)
Cheers

Hi All
Sorry, havent posted much, been worked off my feet. But good news, with a bit of luck, I should be collecting my new car this week sometime. Its a Clio 172, in the usual silver colour. Bought it from Inchcape Wokingham (virtually nextdoor). Its a 51 plate (sept 2001 registered) with only 17k miles on it! I paid a bit much for it, £6999, but the beauty is, they took my punto sporting in for a reasonable price, whereas no one else would touch it because it is knackered! The engine is noisy, the seat bolsters have fallen apart, the spoiler is cracked and chipped, the clutch is knackered, the interior light wiring needs to be looked at, etc.....so Im pretty pleased about the whole situation

is that your formula car for uni? Looks good, when I was at Brunel a few years ago I remember the motors club building our car....I think it won out of all the unis.
It's our Formula Student car for the 2004 event. Don't get a chance to play with them any more. Bit of a workload increase since the final year started. In fact, I spend most of my time in front of a computer these days. Only 4 months to go though so I can't complain!
Brunel's cars have always been good when I've seen them so it wouldn't surprise me at all if you guys won a few years back

Warfield ( North Bracknell :shudder: ) out of term, Loughborough uni in term time.
Didn't realise there were so many local PHers!
Talking of local, you will also find me in Warfield! (And a few others I'm sure)
Apologies in advance for anal retentiveness! Warfield is North of Bracknell not North Bracknell.
