Any recommendations within train commute to London? I have seen a few around Basingstoke but you have to provide your own insurance - which I'd rather let them do (you don't seem to get much of a discount from insurers if the car is unused/in storage).

Might be a bit too far but have you tried Winchester Auto Barn?

Al’s Toy Barn I think is in Reading, not too far from Tilehurst station which you can get to direct from Paddington. Dont know anything about them but I saw an ad the other day.
