Anyone know somewhere reasonably local to High Wycombe that I can get hold of some reclaimed timber for a DIY job (about 12"x1"x6' boards 15No or similar).

I realise it's a mundane thing to ask but I've been looking for ages and had no joy so thought I would turn it over to the 'massive'.

I have just spoken to a builder friend and he told me that you are not allowed to use old timber now because of the spread of beatle and fungus etc

Thanks for that, it would explain why a number of places that used to do it don't any more. You'd think in the current climate of eco-friendly recycalableness they could find away of ensuring that old wood was treated before use but hey-hoh. Down to Jewsons for some new stuff then. Thanks for your help.
