I've been using a place for the past 13yrs or so that was recommended on here. Still happy with them, but my car is taking me to cleaners this year and have just got another big quote. Thinking I should at least shop around a bit this time.
Car is a Renault Sport Megane 275 so if there happens to be a secret specialist for them around here I'm all ears!

My old mate Mike Butler used to have a workshop in Reading, but has moved to a very good workshop, the Reading side of Newbury, just off the A4.
He specialises in French cars, ex Peugeot master technician, definitely well worth the journey.

Try Justin at Grosvenor Cars on Richfield Ave, he always has quick stuff in, ignore the BMW bias as he will work on anything, been using them for years.I've been using a place for the past 13yrs or so that was recommended on here. That's interesting. Always thought it looked a decent set up and would go there when I finally scratched the ///M car itch.Is that where you take your poverty pork? Realised it was you that started that thread the other day!

There wasn't a single occasion where they were cheaper than the local main dealer and they would never price match. Bit odd, maybe I was just unlucky - but I also think some people don't actually check and just assume there's a saving. And of course some people just prefer Indies.
They could be amazing, I have no idea as I just kept taking the cars to Coopers as a result!
I use this guy in https://www.facebook.com/hmcmotorsport/ Heckfield. Good value, and can put his hand to anything.
Try the guys at Hogwood Garage, Finchampstead

Straight forward guys, work on the principle of "what does it need" rather than "what's the maximum I can charge you?"
