I'm meeting a friend Sunday for a catch up and looking to have a picnic somewhere nice mid-way between where we live.
Shes in Horley and I'm near Cambs.
Epping Forest is out current go to but we're looking for a plan B in case the M25 is chokka that way. Ideally somewhere off the M25 West side, anywhere between Slough and Hemel.
Anyone local to that sort of area have any thoughts of nice places to catch up, have a walk etc? Ideally somewhere with visitor facilities such as toilets smile

Runnymede just off J13, free parking if you're in the National Trust.
Bit further up the A30, Windsor Great Park at Virginia Water but extortionate parking fees.
Just above Runnymede park at Bishopsgate in Englefield Green near Fox and Hounds for free. Nice pub and entrance adjacent to WGP by Prince Andrew's pad.
