A404 Amersham to Wycombe??

What's going on last night/this morning? Road is closed, diversions through Penn Street/Winchmore Hill. Traffic websites mention A404 closed further along (Girlfriend was only going to Chalfont/Latimer station)

She was sat in a queue in Penn Street a few minutes ago and someone came piling around the bend behind her, couldn't stop and went into a hedge messing up his front end. Luckily he didn't hit her. The road is chocka with A404 traffic (small lane) and he's driving like that? 1diot.

Nope, that's about 4 miles further along this road. No problems driving from Amersham to Chalfont & Latimer area.

I think it's another burst water main, or the BBC is reporting it in the wrong location.

Something on the local radio this morning saying that some newly built apartments were set alight , police are treating it as suspicious...!

On the Amersham road.. It opened this morning at 8'ish apparently.

Signs are still saying it's closed at five this evening.

Bit late but...
Road was closed due to burst water main.
There was a field fire on the other side amersham to chalfonts.

Gave a bit of a surprise when on immediate down the 404 to find the road closed and noone telling us!
