3D Transmissions, Reading

Greetings all - my B7 RS4 has been making a slight judder from the transmission, particularly noticeable when everything is cold. I had 4x new tyres and a replaced CV joint that had disintegrated. The garage I use for routine stuff (PR Motors in Tidmarsh, highly recommend them) said they felt if the problem remained that I should take the car to 3D Transmissions in Reading. The car has 94K miles and still on its original clutch AFAIK, so I suspect that might need doing.

Does anyone have recent experience with them? I've seen a very few comments from years ago recommending them, but a couple of negative reviews in the last couple of years makes me wonder if they've lost their mojo...

When I had my B7 RS4 I always used Fontain Motors in Iver (not far). Always found them very good and very knowledgeable on that model (and fast Audis in general I guess).

Admittedly that was 5 or 6 years ago now, but might be worth a visit?

Cheers - I may well do that. 3D Trans had the RS4 in to troubleshoot and they were helpful enough (supposing an engine mount was causing my juddering, nothing to do with transmission), but I'd want someone who knows their way around the RS4 to be involved from now on, I think.

I've had the car at MRC in Banbury a few years ago for some fettling, and it has been to a couple of Audi specialist Independents who give great service one month and frankly disappointing the next.
