VW Caravelle Reading/Newbury area

We've recently got a VW Caravelle that came with a Warranty-Wise 12 month Platinum cover which allows for £75/hr labour rate. VW around here is way more than that, so can anyone recommend a decent independent that I could use? We're in Aldermaston so Newbury, Basingstoke area is fine.

What's wrong with it?

Had it's big 4 year belt/pump etc service in August.. now belt/tensioner/something is screeching from under the bonnet. That, and it's been going into Limp home mode on longer drives.

Mill Road garage in Reading.
Often mentioned in posts on here about VW / Audi specialists in Thames Valley.
Have also personally used them and they come highly recommended.

Sadly Mill Road don't do vans - they can't get them through their building entrance. I found this out when I recommended them to my niece who has a VW T4 camper.

Yes I would have used them - extended family does - but rang them to hear the same height restriction

I recommend Elite Garage Services in Newbury. It is very busy though.

If not its a bit of a drive but Haynes in Wallingford do loads of VWs, the main guy has a T4 and they do all the work on mine too

Had a reasonable conversation with Martins Commercial VW near Basingstoke, who did the work + handled the paperwork Warrantywise needed. Will be using them for servicing, nice experience. The van is MILES better now which makes me think wtf did VW west Yorks do charging north of £1500 for their work 3 months ago. Or not do.
