A3095 Closure

The A3095 is now closed to northbound traffic from the Golden Retrewiver roundabout to the Birch Hill roundabout fro Northbound traffic
and will be fro the next 2 and a half months.
It will be chaos once traffic along there starts getting back to pre Covid levels. The queue for the Lights at Coral rReef stretched back halfway down Nine Mile rRide this afternoon. The other way via Jennets Park isn't too bad, but who knows what will happen?

But there are alternatives - there were none when the residents seemed to be in charge of creating a new roundabout for access to Broadmoor with single lane traffic on the A3095 and "temporary" lights that stayed for months even during rush hour!

Interestingly, they’re turning the golden retriever roundabout into a cross road with traffic lights and fly through road towards Bracknell from the golden retriever road

That link seems to show it as it is, complete with the roundabout that is going to be traffic lights!

Why don't they just make it a D/C between the 2 roundabouts? There is enough space after all!

Fly-through from the Golden Retriever towards Bracknell seems pointless - when I used it all the traffic towards Bracknell was from the A3095.

BFBC seemed clueless when I moved here in 2005 - and isn't getting any better.

That was the original plan which has been changed to the current one. I have no idea why.
