Picked up a crack in my alloy a little while ago down to a large pothole which I then reported on multiple occasions. Nothing got done about it until I tried claiming from Lambeth council and then miraculously it got filled in the next day! They've rejected my claim which I'm going to fight but in the short term i'm looking to have it repaired.

I had it repaired once a couple of months ago but think the place did a pretty shoddy job as there's now a crack in the weld so looking for a decent welder who can do a proper repair on it so I don't have to fork out £1k for a new wheel from VW (19" Spielberg on a Golf R).

Can anyone help in recommending one ideally in South West/East London or Surrey?

Cheers

Cheers! Was more looking to see if anyone could actually recommend someone.

I suppose once again, Google has negated the use for another forum... shame!

360 Alloys in Reading gets recommended often for wheel refurb. I guess most of that will be scuffs / repaint - but their website says they can repair cracked wheels.
Not really too far from Surrey / SW London.

Where are you located ? I know a welder who repairs Alloy wheels, lots of the local tyre dealers send customers to him for repairs, he is near Wallington / Coulsdon Surrey.
