A322 in Bracknell
Discussion
It's closed at the moment due to a burst water main and will be for the next day or so. But I think they are making it a dual carriageway.

Shame about the burst water main, but making it a dual-carriageway has been long overdue - that stretch has long been the "missing link" on the A322. Edit: https://www.bracknell-forest.gov.uk/roads-parking-...

It's a few years since I commuted using that route, but I'm sure there have been 2 previous long term partial closures on that stretch. Hopefully, once it's finished they'll leave it alone!
You're lucky in that case!In 15+ years of living within BFC if they can find a way to f*ck roads up they will definitely go for it.
After all they had no problem reducing the A3095 to single lane traffic for over 6 months to provide access to Broadmoor! But I can't help thinking the "loonies" were the councillors, rather than the Psychos - oops, patients!
I really can't remember the last time Yorktown Road in Sandhurst didn't have some temporary lights somewhere.
Still it's good to know that I get no input into such stupidity, but I have to fund it - democracy in action!
