Hopefully the collective wisdom of this forum can suggest somewhere to wash a car!

I got used to France having a good selection of well equipped, reasonably prices self service jet washes.
This is something I sorely miss in the UK, seeing how almost every forecourts is occupied by those hand wash places, or worse an american style contact drive-through wash.

Does anyone know of a good place near Reading that would have foam+water jets and stay open till late?

The garage on the A4 at Woolhampton has always been my 'go to' jet wash as they have one that takes coins so you can pay as you go rather than have to buy a set program.

That'll do it. The fuel station at the big Sainsburys on J12 of the M4 has a jetwash too. smile

The Calcot Sainsbury's? I've been past that so many times and yet never noticed it, will have a look

That's the one. It's hidden away to the left of the little fuel station shop. smile

The BP / Budgens garage just off J11 M4 at Three Mile Cross has 3 bays, too. Also, depending on which side of Reading you're on - the Shell Garage at Tadley is good for this, too.

Thanks, the BP in Three Mile Cross has been on the radar for a while, and is also sort of on the way from Cooper.
I'm closer to Theale, so Tadley works as well. 2 bays, open 24/7, just what's needed!
