Someone who could repair a floor jack
Discussion
Hi All,
I’m looking for someone who could repair a floor jack for me. It was left to me by my dad when he passed away, and rather than just get a brand new one I wanted to see if anyone repairs them.
I suspect the seals have gone as it has leaked quite a bit of fluid, but I’m not mechanically knowledgable enough to start taking it all apart.
Cheers

Hydraulic jacks are very simple pieces of equipment. I would suggest trying to find an online manual or video of that model or a similar one.
Then try doing it yourself, it will teach you much more than paying someone to do it and give you much more satisfaction.
I changed the seals in my jack and it only cost me £1.20
