Looking for VW Touareg mecahnic who's up for a challenge

Hi all,

I'm looking for a VW mechanic that's interested in taking on repairing my 2013 Touareg TDI where the high pressure fuel pump just gave up. Annoyingly, as some of you may know, it fails somewhat catastrophically and sprays swarf through the fuel system.

I've had a quote from VW to repair it, but it's verging on uneconomical - approx 90% the cost of the car. I have another car anyway, so I'm in no major rush to get the work done, so I'm hoping to find someone that wants to rise to the challenge.

Any recommendations in the Surrey area?

The most crazy motor build I have seen - talk about over complicated.

Both familiar with VAG.
