At lunch time, drove down the A30 dual carriageway towards Blackwater. At the end of the dual carriageway is the roundabout where the exits take you to Frogmore, Blackwater, Hawley, a housing estate, and finally back the way you came.

The exit to the housing estate has a small triangular traffic island separating the lanes. Today, there was a blonde girl - maybe late teens - standing on the traffic island in a t shirt with a broom - and I believe wearing yellow rubber gloves.
As I pulled onto the roundabout she started sweeping the traffic island with the broom.

I was the wrong side of the roundabout to see anything more - but it did look slightly bizarre.

Anybody else see it - and figure out what she was doing? Or do I need to check whether somebody slipped something into my coffee?!

Might be civic spirit, might be a rotten, black-souled parent like me, making them atone for venial sins.
