Find me a station to park a courtesy car at!
Discussion
I've no idea where to post this - it's not really Travel, it's not really Business, it'll get shredded in the Lounge - but feel free to move if you know better than me!
I need to drop my car off to a garage in Chertsey (right next to Snow & Rock). They will give me a courtesy car, but....I then need to get into central London (Old Street). So my best bet is to drive the courtesy car somewhere, park up and train it in.
The question is, where? If I go to Heathrow the day's parking will cost an arm and two legs, but I also want a fairly fast service in. If I drive to Chertsey station, it's an hour at best, hour & a quarter for some trains.
And then there's the question of whether there will be any car park spaces left at something like 0930!
So, in summary, I don't want to drive too far, I want to be able to park at the station, and I want a fast service in Any suggestions please?

Why not leave at the dealer, get an Uber to the station and back again at the end of the day?
To answer this and the other similar points, the dealer advised me that the traffic between where he is and the station is very bad in the morning - I don’t know. So he’d rather lend me a car than have someone out running me around for a long time. Weybridge sounds a good option if it’s not too far and the trains are fast. Any idea how easy it is to park after 9-ish?

It should be fine, although the car park at Walton is a lot bigger. Maybe try Weybridge, if busy, go to Walton instead?Or park on March Road (Weybridge) somewhere and walk up the hill to the station

If parking for Walton station, go down Mayfield Road.http://www.walton-on-thames.org/parking-in-walton-...
