"VIP" + escort in East Reading this morning

I was surprised to see the traffic down London Road at Cemetery Junction in Reading being muscled aside this morning by the MET Special Escort Group, followed by a grey Jag XJ and a Range Rover. Blacked out windows so couldn't really see who was in the back, but I'd guess it was the PM, as she lives just up the A4 from there. Anyone happen to know what she/whoever was doing in Reading today ? Trying out the new Cow Lane bridge perhaps ?

Yeh that was the PM.
She lives over in Sonning, so not too far from Cemetery Junction.

Shes the only PM we have had that doesnt live in No.10.
They escort her to and from home every damn day.

I went past the road where she lives this morning,there were two heavily armed cops standing at the junction.
This happens all the time,on a Saturday she often shops in Waitrose Twyford then Sunday she will be in Sonning church.
This is amazing when you consider the security risk from nutters and terrorists.
Can you imagine Trump walking into his local Walmart to do his shopping.

I saw her and husband in Nero in Henley on a Saturday morning in Feb. Quite bizarre seeing them just sitting on a table in the middle. Didn't seem to be that much security either.
