VW specialist/indie - Woking/Bracknell
Discussion
Not filling the brief of dedicated specialist (I don't know one in the area), but Warren Garage in Frimley Green diagnosed and repaired a sensor / bearing fault on our Touran with no messing about.
I also had them run a diagnostic on my Mercedes when I had a no-warning-light issue with my rad fan running full pelt. They did it, but weren't 100% sure what to do without wasting time / money and pointed me to a main dealer to have it sorted (which they did).

I used to use BM Autos in Binfield to look after my Passat - old fashioned garage but up to date diagnostic software etc. Nice guy runs it, will give you a price for original parts v after market and will also tell you if a job is worth investing in or not.

Little bit further afield, but this place in Reading always gets mentioned on here and Mrs.jonscz used to get her last 3 cars serviced there and would recommend it -

Just past Bracknell, in Wokingham, I always used to use Autotechnic - recently rebranded: https://autohausonline.co.uk/about-us/
There is The Phrim over in Blackwater, just beside the train station. Have used them to service my Audi and was impressed.
