Recommend me a bodyshop for rust work?
Discussion
Evening all,
My E39 is starting to get a bit frilly along the sills and rear arches, and I’d like to give it some attention before it gets too bad. This seems to be a real minefield, so if anyone can recommend somewhere based on experience I’d be very grateful!
I’m based in Oxford but willing to travel. There’s someone on here I’m already looking to take it down to have a look at, but various time constraints mean it may not be possible for a month or so.
Thanks

There is a well know and regarded BMW mechanic in oxford called Mark Purcell. He’s an ex BMW guy and is very good. Next to him is a body repair specialist he uses for his customers, I believe BMW also use them for some work too.
I can’t find the name on google, but if you phone Mark, he’ll let you know.

I use https://www.hounslowcoachworks.co.uk/ for all of the cars on my work fleet (including a Phantom) and they have just done the sills on my BMW E28. I wouldn't take my cars anywhere else for bodywork
