Parade of classics through Farnham to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Mike Hawthorn becoming the first British Formula 1 World Champion:

A repeat of a similar event back in 2009 which I missed.. I hope not to miss this one!

A simple Google will take you there - there's nothing wrong with the website, just PH linking problem.

Vehicles: http://www.mikehawthorngrandprixoffarnham.co.uk/pa...

Timings: http://www.mikehawthorngrandprixoffarnham.co.uk/wh...

The route: http://www.mikehawthorngrandprixoffarnham.co.uk/th...

AFAIK the vehicles will be released in batches of 8. Don't know how many laps - I guess it depends how many cars?

I'm hoping to be in the passenger seat of one of the cars belonging to a friend (his car isn't on the list on the website.. and will definitely be the rarest one there!). I'm hoping that the clutch on the car holds out, and for good weather!

Weather was pants but that didn't spoil my enjoyment of watching old cars going round the town.

Only pic I took with the phone.
Should've taken one of the odd FIAT Abarth thing.
Other pics on camera.

Mr Abarth didn't, which is why there was only 3 ever built!
