She who must be obeyed wants a day trip to Windsor tomorrow, but recall it being a parking vortex, any recommendations on the cheapest, easiest options??

Plenty of parking along the river. Not too expensive either.

Park in York road for free and walk 10 minutes, or park on Barry Avenue and pay. Park and ride in the home park or try the rip off car park near near the tacky shops.

Plenty of choice

Just beyond the station by the riverside heading out of town there's a couple of pay and display car parks.

The prt near goslar way with a dead end. It might have changed in the last 4 months but it always was not part of the scheme. Anywhere past the doctors on both sides of the road

If it’s busy I always park at the rugby pitches past the train station and walk up.

I used to go there every day for work, so it never seemed like a desirable place to go for a day out! Too many day-trippers. frown

But at least I got free parking in Windsor Dials (by the railway arches).

I don't think I've been there since - IMHO it's over-rated.

You seem to think I have some choice or notion of free will in my life biggrin
