BMW trained, straightforward, no nonsense, sensible prices. Long wait list as they are so busy but highly recommended.

I've only recently started using these guys but impressions are good - I like a garage where they invite you to come and wander around the workshop and look under the car whilst it's in the air.

Westech between Basingstoke and Kingsclere on the A339. Used them a couple of times and they have been great.

I’ve used Barkers Motor Works in Haslemere (Richard there is ex-BMW UK), Munich Motors in Wokingham and Grosvenor in Reading. All have looked after my M3 well.

Thank you so much everyone for your replies, lots of good suggestions here. TWG in Camberley is closest (still around 30 mins away) so I think I'll go for them.
But regarding Munich Motors, I've been to them before and I'm surprised anybody would recommend them. My experience was that they were a combination of completely rushed, totally bone idle, and with no diagnostic ability whatsoever. So basically the worst combination of everything, and the receptionist had a real attitude problem to complete the package.

Funny you should say that, me and a colleague have used them with no issues, another colleague had some diagnostic problems with them and hates them. All down to your personal experience, I guess. I've not been for a couple of years as I no longer work that way, but I always got along with the ,ahem, 'more mature lady' receptionist, but then again I used to turn up with my road bike on the bike rack for a 5 mile journey to work after ... perhaps my MAMIL look at 8:30am did it for her! rednotdead said:

Just sold my 130i, two days ago, but I always took it to TGW and was very happy. Found them very honest.
