Grassfire Season.

Seem to be more fires this year than I can remember in recent years, obviously it;s been hot and think are tinder dry, just seems the media are all over it this year.
Big one in Marlow yesterday, and another one today near Maidenhead.

Yeah, getting out of Marlow yesterday was fun. Some damage to farm buildings too.

Sounds like the one in Holyport is contained without too much drama though!

I saw a big fire this afternoon 2.30pm approx, just off the M4 near Windsor. Smoke was really thick and wafting over the motorway.

That may well have been the Holyport one
