Suspension set up/alignment near Newbury

Gents, needing a really good suspension set up Co for my Subaru Forester XT, someone who really understands all wheel drive. I'm based near Newbury, so somewhere in the West Berks/North Hants area.

Sorry can't help but perfect thread timing. I live close to newbury and I want to get a fast road alignment setup done on my r26 so if you find a decent place please tell.

I wondered about newbury tyre and exhuast centre but to be honest after getting them to fit some tyres it seems like a bunch of chimps working there.

I've used West tuning at Thruxton, they set up a lot of race / track cars and know their stuff.

They're just spanner monkeys. ATS and/or Millers Garage are great for tyres...but are only okay for setting up bog-standard cars...not ones that need pin sharp set up. There must be a good local geometry set up garage in area...

Thanks Gareth, not too adverse to travelling to Thruxton, was there only the other week...but it's a bloody long way for an hours set up work.

Elite Wheels and Tyres in Portman Rd Reading will do a setup however you want.
£75 the last time i had it done there.

Then theres the company behind Henley on Thames in a town called "Stoke Row". I cannot remember their name right now but they do racing cars, inc current F1 cars.

It will probably be more than an hour, but there's a good cafe at the circuit, and they've always got some interesting cars in.

Great advice thanks, as it happens my renault is going to him end of June for tuning work so may get it done then.

Millers Garage in Newbury have a full geo machine and will do it for you, think it's around £75.

Also just been speaking to the chaps who look after my renault, A&T garage in ball Hill. they have just recently invested 15k ish on an alignment setup rig.

Ben informed me that he can do any setup but you have to provide the relevant information if you want something other than a bog standard setup. Looks like they will be doing mine as having some suspension work does at the same time so it makes sense.

Love his mental m5 aswell, sounds insane. Less keen on Alan but oh well they still do a cracking job.
