Basically I have bought a turbo blanking plate and have had a brief look at fitting it. I know people have fitted them by removing the air intake, but the tight access and fiddlyness has put me off. The car is a 2007 megane r26.
I am in the hungerford/newbury area and I am offerering the job of fitting the blanking plate to someone, preferably someone who has done one on an R26 before.

I know blanking plates are cotraversial but this is not a discussion about that.

If anyone is interested in this job please either PM me or post on here and we can work out a price. Thanks in advance.

No interest???

Really keen to get this fitted. Preferably without paying full garage rates if I can avoid it. I am happy to travel if that helps.

I've got an R26 but all my kit was fitted already. Have you had a look on YT or the RSMegane forum? There are usually examples of people doing it to show you, often its not as bad as it seems.

Thanks but I have already scoured youtube and the RS forum aswell as pistonheads. Mine has an aftermarket cone filter and pipework. People are saying to remove the intake pipe to make access easier, however I cannot even feel the jubilee clip that is holding the pipe let alone get the fker off. Christ knows how the bloke before me got it on there.

It is going to ktec racing for a 70 mm cat back in may so I may arrange for them to do it then depending on price if I don't find anyone else before hand.
