Im a Mazda MX-5 owner based in Gerrards Cross, feel a bit inadequate amongst you guys with some fantatsic cars.

I've occasionally read on here that some of you guys in the area do a run to Runnymede/Virginia Water as I went down and saw loads of gorgeous TVR's parked up once.

Im planning to do a run with my section of the owners club, do you need any kind of permission to use Runnymede for parking? or are there any conditions, just checking before I start putting this together.

Thanks in advance and apologies if I've shoved this in the wrong area.

My thanks in advance for your help!

I presume you mean the car park at Virginia Water?

Nope, no permission needed. If your talking 30+ cars you can let the owners of the car park know, I think its owned by the forrestry commision. If there are alot of people you might want to also let the pub there know.

Another thing to bear in mind is that in the summer that car park is rammed packed full of people dog walking.

You could always hold a rolling road day

There is a choice of car parks at Runnymede, one large tarmac and one grass and one behind the tea rooms.

Amongst those you should have ample room for you and yours, the grass one is owned by the National Trust (along with the rest of Runnymede).

Of course you could all go and visit Marenello round the corner and dribble on the Ferrari's...
