Just popping this up for any local PH'ers, and / or those that pass through Deepcut, that may not be aware. I wasn't, live locally and only found out from someone who works in Frimley Green.

As part of the "Mindenhurst" (Deepcut MOD) redevelopment in 2018 onwards, Skanksa & Natta are about to start constructing a massive new roundabout in Deepcut, along the Deepcut Bridge Road, that will form the main entrance to the development.

Evidently it's due to start on Monday next week and it's estimated that the work will take between 3 & 6 months (minimum) to be completed and people are encouraged to find alternative routes to avoid delays during this time.

Oh joy - I guess this nicely fills the gap between the M3 works and the Meadows r/bout works next January.

On my route from yard to the Deepcut café and back.
will keep and eye on this one.

There is currently a similar project on Bordon on the main road out towards A3 right near our other premises.
New bypass with roundabout construction with temp lights.
During the day these are on manual control and the TMO has the sense to let each side clear
before switching over including time to let their equipment cross the road.
Seems to work too.

Nice mess on A3 yesterday when that van hit a tractor clean up the chuff on A3
Specsavers moment by the van driver who was lucky to walk away.

Wow, that contractor must be something special - it took the best part of a year of misery on the A3095 to construct just one roundabout for access to Broadmoor! Probably because the planners were resident there - and if they weren't, they should have been.
