All,

I've tried selling my current car privately with no joy. I feel the price is just that bit too high for a private sell with cash, and it would be much better sitting on a dealer's forecourt.

Is anyone aware of good places to sell? I am aware of a dealer in Ashtead that put the car on their forecourt, guarantee you a price and sell it for you. (Rather than buying it off you).

Any suggestions appreciated.

What is it & whereabouts are you?

It is a BMW Z4 over near Epsom. I could probably try taking it into a BMW dealership, but doubt I will get a great price for it.

Try Martin at M & T Motors, Newbury, bit far away but he's a good guy # 01635 41007

I've had two Z4s and visit the Z4Forum quite often!

I'd have a look at the classifieds on there for some ideas on what details people on there expect to see, then you can post one yourself at no cost, even as a new member! No down-side as far as I can see. (I sold my first through Z4Forum, and found my 2nd on PH). Plus people on there know what Z4s are worth, so are less likely to have an issue with a dearer model if the price is fair for what it is.

Or maybe try PH, or pay a bit more and use AutoTrader (but expect some dopes). Gumtree is free, but you'll get loads more dopes! That may be the attraction of WBAC. laugh

Good luck anyway. thumbup

I had a good experience selling through Tootle to a dealer. There are a couple of threads on here about them if you want more info.

It's a free advert and if they don't offer what you want then nothing lost, you just don't accept any of them.
