Is this still open or was it finally closed ready for development?

Also I can find supercars experiences, but I just want to take my car there and spank the st out of it, do they do open days, open pits, evening sessions where you can take your own car?

Cheers

I haven't been for 6 months so don't know if things have changed, the track & the film studios are not part of the housing development AFAIK. It is/was £150 per hour for non exclusive use to test there & you will need public liability insurance cover. It is a test track & closes at 5.00pm, I don't know if people hire it for 'track days' , when I've been it has also been used at the same time by buses, trucks, McLaren road cars + others. It's not the place to go to just 'spank' your motor.

Mate got a track experience thing and I am sure it mentioned Longcross as a location if he wanted to do it there.

Was at a magazine photo shoot a few weeks ago and we were using the test track so definitely still in use. Auto Italia magazine had a track day booked, April 29th I think, but had to cancel through lack of interest. So still available and is a pretty good track, I certainly enjoyed it. smilesmile

Wish I'd known about that. I've been wanting to have a blast around Longcross as it's fairly local to me, and my 'grale doesn't get a proper workout on the school run.

Would be great if more conventional track events are publicised in this section on PH as an internet search for Longcross only seems to reveal supercar experiences.
