I'll pop down and ask. Cheers chaps. Any reason to avoid Lynchford?
I had a bad experience with them, they quoted me a fully fitted price for 2 tyres over the phone, went in and had them fitted, and then went to pay only to be told the price quoted didn't include VAT, and they denied telling it was a fully fitted price. They then proceeded to tell me they recorded phone calls, but then couldn't find the recording funnily enough.Since heard other issues people had had there, but in interest of fairness others haven't had a problem with them.

I used to use Road Wheel, but these days I get the Black Circle mobile fitter to visit work as its a lot cheaper. I did go to Road Wheel recently for a four wheel alignment after changing two control arms. Was disappointed to discover they didn't make any adjustments at the rear. I suspect they don't have the skill or equipment to do much more than the front toe in/out. I've also used them for tyre fitting. You have to pay the workshop manager in cash, not officially via the reception deak. A bit strange. £15 a wheel I think.
Years ago I had a new tyre fitted at Lynchford. Drove home about one mile down Kings Road and parked up. Came out in the morning to a nearly flat tyre. Returned to Lynchford to ask them to check the valve, etc. They found a screw in the tyre and said it was not repairable so I had to buy another tyre. Now it is very possible that I picked that screw up on the very short drive home, but I believe it is more possible I picked up the screw in their scruffy, oil ridden car park. Not been back since.

their yard, the car awash next door and the houses the car wash guys live in are an eyesore. It amazes me when i drive past that anyone bought that white house on the corner, next to sainsburies - must be the worst location in the whole town.Years ago I had a new tyre fitted at Lynchford. Roadwheel received my 2 eagle asy 3's
Yesterday from tyreleader, took the 2 wheels down earlier and they fitted them on without any fuss and gave them a quick clean up,
A friendly bunch, and whilst fitting them back on at home having checked the pressures they were spot on, £15 a tyre to fit,
Can't comment on there jacking up skills as I
Took just the wheels but was happy with there service
