Sunday Morning Drive - Thames Valley / Oxon 26th Feb

Hi All,

Anyone keen? The start point will be Newbury Services on M4(Chieveley) at 7.00 AM and the finish point will be West Oxford at a great pub for breakfast prob around 9am. Journey to be kept off-line - its approx. 85 miles tried and tested route with a few new roads.

Appreciate this is slightly short notice, so as an alternative I could do 12th March, please put preference below.

Sounds like a good plan. I'm in Eynsham so will be joining A34 at Botley, Could wait at the large layby going south on A34 just after South Hinksey junction but before Abingdon North junction? Say 6.30 - would that work for you?

Spread the word - ideally need a couple more!

Good work illmonkey! For those who haven't been on one of my runs, they are spirited but not licence loosing! For me it's more about a like minded group of people getting together for a fun drive out on some good roads. There will be a short comfort break half way to stretch legs or grab a coffee and a decent breakfast on offer at the end of people want it.

Although it's lovely today, the weather last night seemed to suggest that it will be wet on Sunday morning - the roads at least, even if not actually raining. I'll assume that's the case, and probably skip it - if by any chance I find myself wide awake and it's dry outside I may change my mind, but 99% I won't be there - so I've removed myself from the list.
