Radio Signal - Camberley and Surrounding Areas

Could just be the high pressure we're getting at the moment. You can check any engineering works for transmitters on this site:

Check on this list and make sure you're using the correct frequency for your area or that your radio is set to auto tune to a stronger signal as you drive around.

97.7 is the Radio 1 frequency for the Guildford transmitter, which AFAIK is the main one serving Camberley, Bracknell etc. and that transmitter has had some engineering works recently which might have something to do with it, but as soon as the weather gets hot like it has the last week or so, FM is usually the band which is affected worse by atmospherics.

I'm in College Town and FM in the car or at home is terrible, unless you like listening to the local mini-cab firms' transmissions! Roof-mounted TV aerial on the house can't get any channels on my TV so I use Free-Sat with a Sky dish - that way when I move I can take it with me!
Can't help thinking the military presence might be the root cause, but if so we'll never know!
