Many tourist places but the following are ok:
Cattle grid
Saffron
Al fasia
Bills is ok for a chain
Don Beni's in Eton used to be fantastic not so sure now.
The two Brewers is probably my favourite but you'll have to book
Going to do that annoying PH forum thing of telling you your opinion is wrong. Cattle grid did a poor steak the one time I gave it a go, which given that's what they're supposed to specialise in is annoying. Cattle grid

I can't comment on most of the others. Saffron is actually quite good - they did a very flavoursome chicken balti for me. Haven't been to Al Fasia as Moroccan isn't to my taste. Bills, is a Bills. May as well suggest Cafe Rouge.
Bel and Dragon is my fave place to eat in Windsor, but you will need to book. Has never failed to be excellent. The Riverhouse also does a good steak. Crossing the bridge, Gilbey's in Eton has always managed to serve up something tasty too.

Glad that you gave your opinion as it balances the views and lets the OP make a call. Mango lounge is a great modern curry as someone else stated, but I don't think Windsor is amazing for food. Lots of OK places and many tourist places which are poor. The 2 brewers is my personal favouriteI can't comment on most of the others. This place is opening soon. Should be world class given the team are all ex-Ramsay 3 michelin star!
