Tut! And from Surrey's social secretary as well.

Sounds good. We'd best get started with the three-day debate about the venue then

FOOD?! Eatin's cheatin'!

Not many pubs serve food in the evening so it might be best if you eat earlier or bring a picnic.

Ok, slightly unusual suggestion here - how about a curry night?

Right, a vote is in order!

If it goes the way of the curry, I'm sure we could arrange for an omelette or roast chicken or similar to be prepared. With a dash of Phal sauce on the side, of course

Just to confuse the lot of you. (And I assume you mean 3.3.05) How about The White Horse in Haslemere? I am already trying to organise a curry night. Those who want pub can do it and the rest on for a curry at some point?? And to intice you I'll park the car out the front.

The only problem is that I can get a lift into Guildford to get mullerd, and Lotuslad and Turbonelly can walk...

Haslemere is a bit far

I'm up for Guildford, and happy with curry or pub (as long as it doesn't snow!) - don't know where Haslemere is... Somewhere with a car park would be preferable

Right, sounds like a Guildford pub then!

For the sake of simplicity could we meet at Pews (the pub we met at last time) and then move on if the mood takes us? We all know where it is so it's a good Ground Zero.

Perhaps we should invent a car-related drinking game too, just to fully bond the two activities.

ps You should come along DanBoy - the last pub meet was good fun with a lot of friendly faces. It would be good to meet another Gford PHer

Ah yes, the hallmark of a good night.

Am I alone in feeling a little trepidation about a game called 'Speedy relief'? I haven't opened the link yet but I feel it may set an unusual theme for the evening
