Saw at least 4 of the things circling in the Windsor/ Slough area just now. Don't think the RAF have them so must be USAF.
Can't remember the name but they are twin (massive) prop that can take offf vertically and then swivel the props forward to give forward flight.
Pretty sure is saw something large being escorted into Northolt at the same time.
I did binge watch some XFiles last night 'but I knows what I saw godammit!'

Fairey Rotodyne.Granted, not exactly the same, but broadly similar, main difference being that the Rotodyne had a separate "up down" and "forward" rotor, and the MV-22 has only only which switches between roles.
